Joining Dr. Jay, Manager Gina has been helping humans her whole life. Her knowledge of how your happiness affects your health, and her life-long love for animals, has led her to become passionate about the animal-human connection. She specializes in helping you understand your pets, and maintain your strong bond with them.

Together, Dr. Jay and Gina Brekke will help you enhance the connection between health and happiness between you and your precious animals. Brekke Veterinary Clinic understands how much love and joy pets bring to your life. We look forward to working with you and your pet, so you can enjoy giving back the love they give to you!

Kiana

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Originally from Kauai, Hawai’i, Kiana brought the island sunshine with her when she joined Brekke Veterinary Clinic in 2022. She’s worked in nearly every corner of veterinary care—from emergency rooms to boarding facilities—and is now studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her long-term dream is saving wildlife as a conservation and rehabilitation advocate and cuddling with as many types of animals as she can. Her passion for veterinary medicine thrives on taking the time to learn what each patient needs and loves reuniting pets with their families after they’ve been treated for an illness or injury. She’s passionate about giving a voice to the voiceless and is committed to understanding how animals think, feel, and heal.

Victoria

Lead Client Service Representative

Victoria has been the friendly face at the front desk of Brekke Veterinary Clinic for the past two years, proudly serving as our Lead Client Service Representative. Originally from San Jose, she moved to Colorado in 2016 to trade palm trees for paws and hasn’t looked back. With a rich background in customer service and a lifelong passion for animals, she excels at creating lasting connections with both our clients and their beloved pets. She especially loves to welcome puppies and kittens during their first visit. Growing up around horses taught Victoria responsibility, patience, and a deep appreciation for the human-animal bond—qualities she brings to every client interaction. Victoria is passionate about making every visit positive and memorable, often remembering your pet’s name before yours, and she’s honored to be part of your pet’s journey from their first tail wags to their golden years.

Kailee

Veterinary Assistant

Kailee began working as an assistant in veterinary medicine in 2024 but is also pursuing an education to earn her veterinary technician license. She has always loved animals but realized she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine when she began working at a boarding facility. She worked with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs, and developed an interest in learning about their needs and behaviors. One of her favorite aspects of being an assistant is client education, and she loves seeing how happy clients get when she has helped their pets recover from an illness or injury. She has a special interest in Radiology, wanting to learn more about discerning abnormalities in the images. To the owners with high energy dogs, ask for Kailee the next time you’re in. She has three of them and will have good tips for keeping them entertained!

Client Service Representative

Growing up, Mac could be found taking in sick wildlife animals that wound up on her family’s doorstep. Nursing these animals back to health inspired her to pursue a field in helping animals. She joined Brekke Vet Clinic as a client service representative in June of 2024 and has since been greeting our patients with her love and infectious laugh. Mac is always ready to brighten the day, and she loves seeing the different breeds of cats and dogs we’re so lucky to care for. She enjoys getting to know each pet's unique personality and extends her natural compassion and empathy to each client that comes through the door. She also not only makes our clients feel at home but also isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and jump in with patient care in the back with the treatment team.

Hannah grew up surrounded by animals and comes from a family with several nurses, so she’s unfazed by the messier aspects of veterinary medicine. She joined the Brekke Vet family in 2024, and we’ve enjoyed her dedication, compassion, and radiant presence ever since. Hannah loves expanding her knowledge so she can best support our clients and patients, especially during scary or stressful moments. She truly enjoys being in a role where she can put more good into the world each day—and she does exactly that for our clients, patients, and fellow Brekke Vet team members.
